Due to several requests we are now offering horse photography workshops and coachings with horses and horses and female models. Workshops will be held in and outdoor by using our Elinchrom Ranger studiolights. We offer horse photography under real studio conditions, we do not use dark stables to create the setting, we use light at the spot where it is needed to emphasize the horse’s beauty in the best way.
Target of the workshop is to show some standard light setups to compare different light settings. Moreover we show how photograph details likesey horseeyes and nostrils, how to work with backlight and what needs to be considered while working with horses and female models while taking photos with artificial light. Who likes can have a try with our digital Hasselblad camera.
What is required:
- A lot of patience with horse and model
- Horse knowledge is highly welcome but not mandatory
- Confident handling with your own camera equipment
- No experience in studio photography needed
All workshops and coachings are limited to max 3 persons, while we emphasize on quality and not quantity.
Equine Fineart by Kraus Photography is exclusive horse photography using studiolights on location. Our horse photography reveals elements of classical paintings and modern fashion photography. We transfer our artistic knowledge from commercial fashion photography and years of experience in handling horses into each of our pictures. In doing so we work with state of the art digital medium format cameras by Hasselblad and Phase One as well as portable studiolight generators from Elinchrom.
Each of our pictures is a one of a kind which shows every horse, regardless of breed, in its unique beauty. Whether Pony, Dressage, Racing, Show-jumping or Western horse – for us every horse has its own special beauty and our goal is to capture this in a fascinating way. Everyone can take horse pictures – We make photographs for eternity!
Looking ahead we will present news from a horse photographers work. Look forward to exciting making of’s, breathtaking horse photos and interesting comments on horse photography, digital medium format gear as well as portable studiolight generators.
